This album has some very good songs like Should I Feel That It’s Over and More. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Alison Moyet energies, virtually a rebirth. Lead single “Should I Feel That It’s Over” and “More” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. I love this album so much, i’ve been crazy about Alison Moyet ever.
The first time I listened to Yesterday’s Flame I was struck by its cool sound.
This track is nearly perfect if not perfect. Hometime sets the tone for the entire album. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. Say It is one of the best records ever. Ski is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. If You Don’t Come Back To Me hits the heart. Do You Ever Wonder is probably one of Alison Moyet’s biggest successes for the album - it’s lovely to listen to. The Train I Ride - Alison Moyet first major hit. Alison Moyet sings You Don’t Have To Go in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved. Only one song from Hometime named Bilan (Version Francaise) really got me. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song.
