Now signed to Dave Brubeck’s SixSteps records, the title track from second album “Time Further Out” leads Dave Brubeck’s back-to-school campaign. After seeing Bluette, I had to have a good Dave Brubeck cd. Lead single “Bluette” and “Charles Matthew Hallelujah” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Dave Brubeck is one of my favourite bands of all time.
This song may be the most meaningful.
Charles Matthew Hallelujah - arguably the best track on Time Further Out album. Nice and different song. I love the melodic melody of Far More Drums and to this day it makes me feel good. Maori Blues is the albums biggest surprise. I like the agression and power of Unsquare Dance. Although Bru’s Boogie Woogie is very melodic it is far from sad. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. Slow and Easy (A.K.A. Lawless Mike) is a song to enjoy for years to come. It’s A Raggy Waltz (Live) is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood.
