two years ago, Dierks Bentley briefly lived up to their terrific name, with an insanely addictive hit single called “Long Trip Alone”. Self-described as Country with lots of words, Dierks Bentley comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. This compilation contains all of the biggest hits by Dierks Bentley. One of Dierks Bentley’s best albums yet.
After about the third Can’t Live It Down listen through, I began to believe this song is Dierks Bentley’s essence.
Long Trip Alone gives taste of what makes Dierks Bentley special as a musician. I loved That Don’t Make It Easy Loving Me the first time I heard it. Dierks Bentley emotions are reflected through Soon As You Can. Trying To Stop Your Leaving - This one makes me want to not only sing along. When I listen to Hope For Me Yet in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. The Heaven I’m Headed To is astounding. Free and Easy Down The Road I Go had me crying as I was able to relate so well. In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of Dierks Bentley. Prodigal Son’s Prayer is the song that really did it for me.
