The Legendary Italian Westerns is an amazing album, racked with beauty.Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Ennio Morricone on ‘A Gringo Like Me.’. The Legendary Italian Westerns carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. This is what good Soundtrack should be.
Man With A Harmonica is really a nice song to relax and listen too.
This track is possibly the biggest guilty pleasure on The Legendary Italian Westerns. I like the agression and power of The Indians. From the moment you listen to Lonesome Billy you’re hooked. This is the kind of song I think of when I think of Ennio Morricone. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on The Legendary Italian Westerns is Almost Dead. Square Dance is beautiful, yet underrated track. The Chase good vocals. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. Without Pity as a highlight of The Legendary Italian Westerns contains a ton of excellent melodies. Listening to For A Fistful Of Dollars you can hear that Ennio Morricone has still amazing chemistry with band members. Vocal harmonies in this track are great and song structure is just right. Waiting one of the most beautiful songs i’ve ever heard. The Massacre had me crying as I was able to relate so well. Angel Fase sets the tone for the entire album. Sixty Seconds To What? is perfect and different song. Aces High is a bit different from Ennio Morricone stereotypical stuff. In The Watchers Are Being Watched you won’t find any flashy solos. The Vice Of Killing - A catchy, upbeat tune. The Musical Pocket Watch defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. The Showdown have really caught my ear and imagination. Goodbye, Colonel! is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion. Within the first few notes of Main Theme From ‘For A Few Dollars More’ it’s perfectly clear that Ennio Morricone is living this song. Main Title From ‘Ringo Rides Again’ is one of these floating songs. March Of The MacGregors. is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. Santa Fe Express stands out to me for its audacious melody and sheer beauty. Best song on the album, love it. Music of Main Title From ‘Once Upon A Time In The West’ is gentle, never overbearing. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. Although Jill’s America is very melodic it is far from sad.
