It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Garth Brooks energies, virtually a rebirth. Garth Brooks carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. This album has some very good songs like Not Counting You and I’ve Got A Good Thing Going. Overall, I would highly recommend Garth Brooks CD.
I Know One - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Garth Brooks.
I’ve Got A Good Thing Going defines beauty, yet is as unforgiving as an astringent stone. Garth Brooks is hitting on all cylinders in If Tomorrow Never Comes. Uptown Down-Home Good Ol’ Boy (3:05) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. This track is just a stunning masterpiece. I loved Much Too Young (To Feel This Damn Old) the first time I heard it. Cowboy Bill is a excellent, simple song by Garth Brooks at the top of his game. Garth Brooks is one of artists that allow his songs like Nobody Gets Off In This Town to stand on their own and be heard. The Dance - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites.
