There were many famous songs of Garth Brooks available. It’s natural for Garth Brooks to take a stab at ‘We Shall Be Free’ considering her long-professed love for Army of Lovers. There is so much to love about Garth Brooks, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. If I may, I suggest “We Shall Be Free”. That one song is amazing!
Walking After Midnight still maintains something of a specific flourish.
I now have Somewhere Other Than The Night as one of my personal favorites. Within the first few notes of Every Now and Then it’s perfectly clear that Garth Brooks is living this song. I find myself hearing bits of Dixie Chicken here and there throughout my waking hours. Album opener Learning To Live Again is a bright, upbeat ditty. That Summer gives good insight into the truths. Something With A Ring To It - Well, here we get a bit more meaning. First time I heard Night Riders Lament was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing. This is probably my favorite song on the album.
