This is one of the best Cd’s Hans Zimmer has dropped to date. Now signed to Hans Zimmer’s Capitol Records, the title track from second album “Black Hawk Down” leads Hans Zimmer’s back-to-school campaign. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Hans Zimmer on ‘Hunger’. This is my first Hans Zimmer Album and i must say i am blown away.
Still Reprise was the first single release from the album Black Hawk Down.
Barra Barra had me crying as I was able to relate so well. I like the idea behind Vale Of Plenty. Chant - A nice song. The song Still ending is my favorite… so catchy! I listened to the opening track Mogadishu Blues and liked it a lot. Bakara is probably the most interesting track on Black Hawk Down. Blew our minds when we first heard Synchrotone. Of The Earth - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. Once you hear Ashes To Ashes, you will listen to it over and over. Gortoz A Ran - J’attends which is my favorite is a truly Hans Zimmer sounding song. Tribal War the elegant and beautiful song on the album is hard to describe. Leave No Man Behind is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. Minstrel Boy has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Hans Zimmer’s strong vocals come to the fore.
