I hope to keep hearing Henry Mancini works for a long time to come. Moonlight Sonata is maybe the best thing the group’s ever done. After about the third Big Noise From Winnetka listen through, I began to believe this song is Henry Mancini’s essence. When I listen to By The Time I Get To Phoenix in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. The beautiful sound of this track makes you want to close your eyes and sway away with the music. That Old Black Magic is one of the coolest songs Henry Mancini has ever recorded. Pie In The Face Polka (2:31) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. Unchained Melody - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. As Time Goes By is cool song though, very addictive. Henry Mancini is hitting on all cylinders in Two For The Road. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. Henry Mancini emotions are reflected through Love Is A Many Splendored Thing. I listened to the opening track Misty and liked it a lot. Everything I Do (I Do For You) (4:26) a good melody. Album opener Gigi is a bright, upbeat ditty. Cherokee (Indian Love Song) - This one makes me want to not only sing along.
