When you buy a Herbie Hancock album, you know exactly what you’re getting! There is so much to love about Herbie Hancock, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Head Hunters isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like Head Hunters.
Vein Melter is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot.
I like to sing along with Watermelon Man, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Sly is worth the money.
