This is the first studio album from Hevia since bad diagnosis in 2002. This disc has all of the essential Hevia classics. After seeing Corri Corri, I had to have a good Hevia cd. Exciting stuff.
Excellent vocals and musical performances.
El Garrotin good vocals. Although I prefer the faster paced music, I think El Ramu is my favorite song on Best Dreams (Volume 22). Kyrie Eleison sets the tone for the entire album. Fandangu Los Nobos is a medium tempo tune. A great put together song. Naves is a song you cannot help but think about at odd moments in your day. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit. El Salton presents the excellent mix of instruments on Best Dreams (Volume 22). After about the third La Linea Tranzada listen through, I began to believe this song is Hevia’s essence. Banos De Budapest is the most memorable and amazing. Si Guieres Gue Te Cortexe (6:10) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. Gaviotes - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Hevia. Music of Mermuradora is gentle, never overbearing. Sobrepena is the funkiest number on the album.
