Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Jeff Lorber on ‘Under Wraps’. Philly Style is an amazing album, racked with beauty.Jeff Lorber was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Jeff Lorber and Philly Style together. This is the best album I have heard in a long time
This track is just a stunning masterpiece.
Gigabyte is the song that really did it for me. What sets Philly Style apart is Jeff Lorber’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres. Overall a nice softer song. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Laissez Faire. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. Uncle Darrow’s is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Jeff Lorber released so far. When She Smiles - This one is lively and fun. Serpentine Lane is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined.
