This is one of the best Cd’s Kottonmouth Kings has dropped to date. Since completing 2001’s ‘Intro’, Kottonmouth Kings fulfilled their contract with Sparrow Records and where under no obligation to release another album. On Hidden Stash, Vol. 2 : The Kream Of The Krop album, Kottonmouth Kings have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. This is what good Pop should be.
In Grow Room Jam Kottonmouth Kings spins a tale you want to hear to the end.
Best song on the album, love it. Welcome To The Suburbs is the albums biggest surprise. I now have Tell Me Why as one of my personal favorites. Dying Daze hits the heart. One listen to the sheer beauty of Life Rolls On was all I needed. This song is very powerful, its catchy melody will have you singing along in no time. Things I Do had me crying as I was able to relate so well. Bi-Polar - Okay, I just talked about depth. In New Destination full palet of sound is used by Kottonmouth Kings to accentuate the presentation. Brain On Drugs (Interlude - Shakey Bonez) is perfect song though, very addictive. All About The Weed - A classic Kottonmouth Kings track. Family Trees is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. On The Run has a fun tempo. My Mind Playin’ Tricks On Me one is one of the better boring ones.
