This twelve-song debut EP shows the promise that Mickey Hart has. Mickey Hart was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Mickey Hart and Supralingua together. Lead single “Angola” and “Yabu” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. I greatly enjoyed this CD.
Once you hear Umasha, you will listen to it over and over.
I listened to the opening track Yabu and liked it a lot. The song Endless River ending is my favorite… so catchy! Umayeyo is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart. Secret Meeting Place is simply marvelous. I came to like Tall Grass. Simple and heartfelt closing track Frog Dance closes Supralingua on a high note. Damawoo is beautiful, yet underrated track. This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy. Wheel Of Time gives taste of what makes Mickey Hart special as a musician. It’s very catchy and easy to get into which is what you want in a song.
