Dr. Dre was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from Dr. Dre and Concrete Roots together. It has been three years Dr. Dre’ last studio CD, “Concrete Roots” which won Array Emmy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. When you buy a Dr. Dre album, you know exactly what you’re getting! To me Dr. Dre is the best band ever.
The Formula is a song to savor, to listen to from every angle.
Once you hear Mo’ Juice, you will listen to it over and over. It’s Funky Enough is absolutely incredible. Dre’s Beat Re-Mix is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. Other tracks are good but your best bet is to stick with Surgery II. If you are a Dr. Dre fan, you will love Paid For It. No More Lies is a amazing, simple song by Dr. Dre at the top of his game. Another ‘G’ Thang is one of the coolest songs Dr. Dre has ever recorded. The Planet - Dr. Dre first major hit. You have to get essence of the Dre’s Beat’s power, to truly understand this masterpiece. Must Be The Music is the albums biggest surprise. Opening track The Grand Finale shows the best of Dr. Dre. N-Tervu is an underrated song: I like its lyrics and melody a lot. Now signed to Bill Haley’s Blue Note Records, the title track from second album “Rock the Joint” leads Bill Haley’s back-to-school campaign. On Rock the Joint album, Bill Haley have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Since Bill Haley last CD (Rock the Joint) on Blue Note Records back in 2003, I have felt a massive void in my life. Smart music for smart people.
A great put together song.
Green Tree Boogie is one of my favorite songs by Bill Haley. Jukebox Cannonball is possibly the most mysterious and inexplicable track Bill Haley ever produced. Sundown Boogie is simply exquisite. In Icy Heart full palet of sound is used by Bill Haley to accentuate the presentation. |titile| is quite refreshing and sets the tone for what is going on in Rock the Joint. Dance With A Dolly gets you up and jumping. I love the melodic melody of Rockin Chair On The Moon and to this day it makes me feel good. Stop Beatin Around The Mulbe has a fun tempo. It took me a little time but I ended up loving Real Rock Drive. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. What Cha Gonna Do is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Bill Haley released so far. Rock the Joint couldn’t start better than with the up up-beat title track Pat-a-cake. Fractured is a bit different from Bill Haley stereotypical stuff. Still going through Rock the Joint and coming to appreciate Live It Up more and more with every listen. Farewell, So Long, Goodbye rocked my world when I popped it into my car stereo. I Ll Be True pretty much defines how I feel spiritually. |titile| is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive. Chattanooga Choo Choo was the first single release from the album Rock the Joint. Straightjacket is new, fresh, and hypnotizing. Opening track Yes Indeed 1954 shows the best of Bill Haley. Don’t judge Yes Indeed 1957 on the first listening. Track 24 is Bill Haley’s best work in years.

This disc has all of the essential Yusuf Islam classics. While no new Yusuf Islam album is in sight, the artist has been road testing new songs during 2006 tour in Australia. On the India charts, superstar Yusuf Islam’s career stalled before it left the starting gate. This album is awesome.
Beloved as a highlight of An Other Cup contains a ton of excellent melodies.
Within the first few notes of Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood it’s perfectly clear that Yusuf Islam is living this song. Lyrics of In the End are precise and evocative. One Day at a Time is one of the best records ever. Heaven/Where True Love Goes - This one is what it is: a powerful, primal invitation to love. Green Fields, Golden Sands is simple, dignified and effective, Yusuf Islam refusing to over-emote, and demonstrating that less is more. I Think I See the Light gives good insight into the truths. Strong percussion and poignant lyrics of this track really gets under your skin. Maybe There’s a World is a song to enjoy for years to come. Midday (Avoid City After Dark) - A nice song.

Self-described as Pop with lots of words, The Crusaders comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. The Crusaders was a flawless and timeless record. Not surprising from The Crusaders and The Ultimate together. On The Ultimate album, The Crusaders have renewed their membership in the ‘if it ain’t broke…’ school of songwriting. Check it every song is worth the money for the The Ultimate CD!
Vocals of The Crusaders in Night Faces really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm.
I was truly moved when I heard Street Life. The Hustler - A classic The Crusaders track. Eleanor Rigby (Live) is a song that definitely grows on you and becomes an album favorite. Charming song, great melody. Soul Shadows was the first single release from the album The Ultimate. Soul Caravan - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of The Crusaders. After few listenings I started to like Don’t let it get you down more and more. The Crusaders - Rhapsody and blues is one of those songs that will put you in a good mood. It’s a great pleasure to listen to The Crusaders - Honky Tonk Struttin’ from the beginning to the end. Bayou Bottoms sets the tone for the entire album. Snowflake has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets The Crusaders’s strong vocals come to the fore. The Crusaders offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself.

It has been fifteen years Ronan Hardiman’ last studio CD, “Anthem” which won Array Emmy Awards and was nominated for album of the year. Lead single “Anthem” and “That Place In Your Heart” start with near-whispers before kicking into giddily catchy, fuzz box-driven hollered hooks. Ivan Grach has compared writing for Ronan Hardiman’s new album to that on ‘Anthem’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. I greatly enjoyed this CD.
From the sound of it, I believe the song can be a big radio hit.
That Place In Your Heart as a highlight of Anthem contains a ton of marvelous melodies. Ronan Hardiman breathes new life into the music in Run Away. Salve is one of the best records ever. Never gives good insight into the truths. Worlds Apart - I used to hate this song, but now it’s one of my favorites. Ancient Lands have really caught my ear and imagination. Where Are You Now is outstanding work of Ronan Hardiman. Heaven (Waiting There For Me) - another great track from the Anthem album.

When you buy a Slightly Stoopid album, you know exactly what you’re getting! Since Slightly Stoopid last CD (Chronchitis) on EMI Records back in 2007, I have felt a massive void in my life. Chronchitis carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. Overall, I would highly recommend Chronchitis CD.
Reward for Me is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart.
Slightly Stoopid rocks harder than ever with The Otherside. Ocean is a very good song maybe surprisingly better than you at first might’ve imagined. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Breakbeat (feat. DJ Hellnaw), which shows, blatantly, how much Slightly Stoopid has evolved as a singer. Slightly Stoopid breathes new life into the music in Mind on Your Music. Opening track Ever Really Wanted shows the best of Slightly Stoopid. One of the more genuine-sounding songs is Girl U So Fine/Girl U So Fine Pt 2. So much energy, so exciting a sound.Slightly Stoopid is one of artists that allow his songs like Round the World to stand on their own and be heard. Digital without a doubt is the standout song of Chronchitis. This track is full of harmonies and gets Chronchitis off to a relaxing start. Nobody Knows is, without a doubt, my favorite song, ever. Blood of My Blood has a beautifully haunting disco flavor. 2am is an incredible song that has everything it needs to be another favorite track. Hold On To The One actually sounds so joyous, that you can practically see a smile on Slightly Stoopid’s face. Slightly Stoopid has astounded me with this amazing track.

Slightly Stoopid is hitting on all cylinders in Ever Really Wanted. Girl U So Fine/Girl U So Fine Pt 2 makes a person feel exquisite. |titile| is the kind of record that makes you remember why music can be so addictive. This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. Slightly Stoopid must have run out of lyrics on the next track Round the World. Listening to A Warm Summer Night you can hear that Chic has still amazing chemistry with band members. My Feet Keep Dancing - is a breath or fresh air compared to many previous songs of Chic. Ivan Grach has compared writing for Ulver’s new album to that on ‘Themes From William Blake’s ”The Marriage Of Heaven and Hell”’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. There is so much to love about Ulver, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. Themes From William Blake’s ”The Marriage Of Heaven and Hell” carries a very emotional theme throughout the album. One of Ulver’s best albums yet.
Plate 4 (2:50) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs.
I like to sing along with Plate 3, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Plate 3, Following is the album’s biggest hit, I think. Plates 5-6 is perhaps one of the best tracks of the past decade. Some of the arrangements found on Themes From William Blake’s ”The Marriage Of Heaven and Hell” are surprisingly edgy. Plates 7-10 - A nice song. Plate 11 is a medium tempo tune. Intro is the albums biggest surprise. Plates 12-13 is so unique, as each one of the songs is. Plate 14 gives taste of what makes Ulver special as a musician. Ulver rocks harder than ever with Plate 15. It’s also one of those rare songs that touchingly comfort the listener. Only one song from Themes From William Blake’s ”The Marriage Of Heaven and Hell” named Plates 17 - 20 really got me. Intro has to be one of the most beautiful tracks on the entire album. Plates 21 - 22 on Themes From William Blake’s ”The Marriage Of Heaven and Hell” is solid and easy to listen to. Plates 22 - 24 good vocals. This track is almost perfect, instrumentals and vocals combine awesomely. The opening track Plates 25 - 27 is very much like you would expect from other albums.

It’s natural for Duke Ellington to take a stab at ‘Opening Remarks’ considering her long-professed love for Led Zeppelin. After seeing Opening Remarks, I had to have a good Duke Ellington cd. This is the first studio album from Duke Ellington since bad diagnosis in 1972. Cool, but I like their other actual stuff better like Live At The Whitney.
In this song fans will recognize the unique vocals of Duke Ellington.
Medley (6:51) - awsome. Meditation is the funkiest number on the album. I like to sing along with A Mural From Two Perspectives, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Sophisticated Lady - Solitude - This happy song is an ode to optimism and an anthem. Duke Ellington emotions are reflected through New World A Coming. Amour, Amour (1:41) Not one of my favorites, but for a lot of people this is one of their best songs. The song feels complete. Lotus Blossom is amazing and different song. Flamingo - A catchy, upbeat tune. Duke Ellington offers the kind of music here that makes you reflect on yourself. The Night Shepherd - Okay, I just talked about depth. Duke Ellington is hitting on all cylinders in C Jam Blues. Mood Indigo - This one has a powerful beat and a good melody. Awesome song is really all that you can say about it. The sound in Dancers In Love is really warm and Duke Ellington’s signature voice is still very much present. Kixx is a striking and quite long song. Satin Doll great lyrics, dark, deep, angry and cool.

I am not a real Retro music type of person, but i have to admit ‘The All-Time Greatest Hits of Roy Orbison, Vol.2′ really is amazing. There is so much to love about Buju Banton, starting with incredible harmonies, songwriting chops and stellar stage presence. This album has some very good songs like Willy (don’t be silly) and Tribal war. I am not a real Reggae music type of person, but i have to admit ‘Voice of Jamaica’ really is amazing. Enjoy the show.
This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot.
When I listen to Tribal war in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. Wicked act is a pleasing, and full of overall coherence that goes beyond other creations. The opening track Red rose is very much like you would expect from other albums. Operation ‘Ardent’ is a nice, innocuous song, and much better than anything Buju Banton released so far. The song Make my day ending is my favorite… so catchy! No respect is such a cool and optimistic song that things can get just better. If loving was a crime feat. Brian and Tony Gold is one of the most beautiful songs ever to grace my stereo. Buju Banton allows each song to breathe and flourish. I find myself hearing bits of Him take off here and there throughout my waking hours. Gone a lead (3:49) - Oh, this is one of my favorites! Deportees (things change) - isn’t quite as powerful vocally, but has a beautiful melody. One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Commitment because the melody in the chorus is so good. A little more time - Okay, I just talked about depth.

Stanley Donwood has compared writing for Lisa Gerrard’s new album to that on ‘Best of Lisa Gerrard’ - but has declared the lyrics will be even more terrifying. Nowhere is this more so than on their re-working of Lisa Gerrard on ‘Wheat’. It’s natural for Lisa Gerrard to take a stab at ‘Wheat’ considering her long-professed love for UB40. Wheat and Elysium is really good.
In Indus the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation.
Elysium is the best music that I have heard from anyone in any area of music. Sacrifice - another great track from the Best of Lisa Gerrard album. When I listen to Ariadne in my car when traffic ain’t going so good. It is succeeded by an outstanding track, however: Sanvean (Live at the Mayfair Theatre), which shows, blatantly, how much Lisa Gerrard has evolved as a singer. Host of Seraphim is Lisa Gerrard’s best work in years. Music in Cantara is exquisite as in all tracks of Best of Lisa Gerrard. Swans presents the perfect mix of instruments on Best of Lisa Gerrard. Promised Womb - Okay, I just talked about depth. This song is like perfectly aged vintage bordeaux wine not a tequila shot. Persephone (The Gathering of Flowers) is the first taste of the new album. Our Kid’s Kid is just a great song and one well worth taking the time to give it a good listen.

In Rock N Roll Lady you won’t find any flashy solos. Shades Of B Hill - Okay, I just talked about depth. Music and lyrics of Fifties Child creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. No Barclay James Harvest song has come close to capturing my attention as Waiting For The Right Time did. This track is a killer, it just grabs you instantly. Song Behind Blue Eyes is actually a funny song.
North Americay is sonically very melodic with nice haunting verses.
