Self-described as Electronic with lots of words, The Orb comes out swinging on perhaps his best album to date. The Orb had quite a long carriere and they made many hits. Pomme Fritz isn’t so much a record, as a great effort at dragging you into another world. Great Electronic right here!
This track makes my mind whirl and vibrate with flowing energy.
More Gills Less Fishcakes is really a nice song to relax and listen too. Outside of the singles, my favorite song on Pomme Fritz is We’re Pastie To Be Grill You. Bang ‘er ‘n Chips is one of the best records ever. What sets Alles Ist Schoen apart is The Orb’s innovative and organic way of creating atmospheres.
