Yesterday’s Rain has a beautifully haunting disco flavor.
Vocals of The Sweet in Ballroom Blitz really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. This is the most melodic ambitious and satisfying track in Collection. No You’Don’t was the first single release from the album Collection. The Sweet sings his heart out in The Sixteens. Lady Stairlight is beautiful, yet underrated track. In To The Night one is one of the better boring ones. Lyrics of Hell Raiser are precise and evocative. I like to sing along with Peopermint Twist, though I mess up the lyrics sometimes. Action which is my favorite is a truly The Sweet sounding song. I love the melodic melody of Set Me Free and to this day it makes me feel good. This song could easily nestle itself onto the world top playlists. Opening track Love Is Like Oxygen shows the best of The Sweet. AC/CD without a doubt is the standout song of Collection. It’s such an underrated song. Strong, powerful vocals of The Sweet in She Gimme Lovin’ are very impressive. Geartbreak Today is a song to enjoy for years to come. White Mice is a bit of a show-tune. Fountain is filled with very deep emotions that will truly touch your heart.
