Thin Lizzy’s debut, ‘Night Life’, does not fit easily into one genre. Since Thin Lizzy last CD (Night Life) on EMI Records back in 1974, I have felt a massive void in my life. There is no doubt that Thin Lizzy has talent. This is what good Rock: Hard-Rock should be.
First time I heard Showdown was on radio driving in my car and sonically it just sounded amazing.
Vocals of Thin Lizzy in Night Life really capture me and are set perfectly to the rhythm. It’s Only Money is nothing short of a modern masterpiece. Still in Love With You - For me, this is the best of the album. Frankie Carroll catches attention immediately, |titile| is a sure sign of something most of us are experiencing, maturity. Music and lyrics of Philomena creates, for me, fertile ground for daydreaming. The first time I listened to Sha-La-La I was struck by its perfect sound. Thin Lizzy sings Dear Heart in such a comforting, confident voice that you can’t help but be moved.
