This album has some very good songs like Miinan Laulu and Kamaritski. It’s a brave and brilliant refocusing of Varttina energies, virtually a rebirth. It’s natural for Varttina to take a stab at ‘Miinan Laulu’ considering her long-professed love for UB40. This is the best album I have heard in a long time
One of the songs that always stick in my mind is Oi Dai because the melody in the chorus is so good.
I came to like Kamaritski. This is one of those tracks that should not be judged after the first hearing. The sound of Mie Oon Musta is difficult to describe, as it seems to squirm in a sensual manner, unlike anything ever created. Marilaulu - This one is lively and fun. Ukko Lumi is a catchy, up-tempo track that has influence of music streams without leaning too much in that direction. Vot Vot Ja Niin Niin is a perfect sing-along. It’s so catchy, it’s amazing. Tantsukolena is perfect work of Varttina. Musically Kiiriminna is superior to other tracks in Oi Dai. Yks On Huoli is a song that takes you on the journey before it reaches the conclusion.
