Since Wumpscut last CD (Cannibal Anthem CD1) on Capitol Records back in 2006, I have felt a massive void in my life. It’s natural for Wumpscut to take a stab at ‘Herzlich Willkommen’ considering her long-professed love for Godless Cruelty. It has been one years Wumpscut’ last studio CD, “Cannibal Anthem CD1″ which won Array Emmy� Awards and was nominated for album of the year. Auf Der Jagd has a gorgeous instrumental sound, which lets Wumpscut’s strong vocals come to the fore.
I came to like Wir Warten. Die Liebe good vocals. Jesus Antichristus is the first taste of the new album. Cannibal Anthem is a cool sing-along. Pass Auf has a fun tempo. I hope to keep hearing Wumpscut works for a long time to come. Ohne Dich is the funkiest number on the album. In Hunger the light shines equally on lyrics, vocals and instrumentation. Put Recht Vor Gnade into car stereo for your highway driving
